#15: Star Wars The Black Series - Han Solo

Han Solo's outfit from Cloud City is my favorite look, and his Force Awakens look is pretty similar. Not that it matters too much, as I'd be getting Han anyway, but it's a cool look, although since his jacket is brown leather now, it has a more Indiana Jones vibe. Just as you'd hope, Han is armed with his trusty DL-44 blaster. Mine was bent from the packaging, so I'm keeping it in the holster for now to straighten it out. I like the new head sculpt on this one, as Han's expression looks kind of bored and impatient. Since a New Hope Leia has been announced, I'm hoping a General Organa is in the works as well.

#14: Star Wars The Black Series - Finn (FN-2187)

The honor of the first character that I've bought two figures of from The Force Awaknes goes to Finn. That covers his two main looks for the movie, so I won't be getting another for a couple years.  (Right now, I'm wishing I'd picked up the Poe/riot trooper two pack, because that has a way better likeness for Oscar Isaac). This is Finn soon after we first meet him, with his comrade's bloody fingerprints on his helmet. This is basically the same as the regular stormtrooper figure, but the upper torso sits further down on the lower torso, making him shorter.  That's a nice touch, as he wasn't the tallest trooper. The head sculpt is different from the other Finn figure, and the helmet fits on very snugly.

#13: Assassin's Creed - Jacob Frye (Blackguard outfit)

The most recent Assassin's Creed game takes place in Victorian London, which is a really fun setting for the game. The main characters are twins Jacob and Evie Frye. Sadly, there is no Evie figure (I spent more time playing as her), but hopefully she will be in an upcoming series. Until then, there is the Funko Pop! version of Evie. But for now, here's Jacob. Jacob's hood is removable, which is a bit unfortunate as it results in his head looking overly bulbous. He's armed with two pistols, a swordcane, and his removable blade. As always, the removable blade has a few different options which can be plugged into the arm: retracted, extended, and the zipline launcher.

#12: Captain America Marvel Legends - Agents of SHIELD (Sharon Carter)

Even though Sharon Carter appeared in Winter Soldier and will appear in the upcoming Civil War, I'm not holding my breath for Hasbro to make a figure based on her movie appearance, given their track record. So this is another case where a comic version will do as a stand in. She's a repaint of the Sharon Carter figure, which was itself a retool of the Black Widow figure, so at least her suit is based on a cinematic appearance, although I don't know if she'll be wearing anything like it in Civil War. Since she has unremovable guns in the holsters on her leg, it is fortunate that an actual gun is included for her to use. She is packed with Red Skull/Onslaught's right leg.

#11 Captain America Marvel Legends - Agents of SHIELD (Mockingbird)

Since it looks like Hasbro is not going to be making any figures based on any of the Marvel live action TV series, when they make a comic version of the character that I'm not otherwise interested in, that will do as a stand in. Fortunately, Mockingbird has a fairly simple yet really cool design that translates well to action figure form. She's armed with her twin batons which can be combined into a staff, the same accessory as Daredevil and Wildcat included, although in grey this time. With Red Skull/Onslaught as the build a figure for the wave, his torso and shoulder pads are included.

#10: Star Wars The Black Series - First Order Flametrooper

Once again, I continue to prove that I'm a sucker for trooper variants. I think the flametrooper only shows up briefly during the attack on Jakku, and doesn't really do anything aside from looking cool. But that's all it takes to get an action figure into my collection when it comes to troopers. The flametrooper is naturally armed with a flamethrower that connects via a removable hose to the tanks on his back. Like the snowtrooper, the helmet is more of a blank face than a stormtrooper, and only includes a slit to see through.
