#101: Star Wars The Black Series - C-3PO (Resistance Base)
Finally, the six inch scale Artoo gets a C-3PO to go with him, although for whatever reason the main retail version is the Force Awakens version. There is a classic trilogy version with silver leg, but that's a Walgreens exclusive. But I'm glad to finally get Goldenrod himself in this scale. It's a good looking Threepio, but the articulation really bugs me. For the most part, it's good. But the arms. The arms! They're sculpted with the pistons, so bonus points for accuracy, but that means that there is no elbow articulation at all. So the arms are stuck kind of awkwardly hanging no matter how you position them. While I suppose that the actual costume was pretty stiff, it would have been nice to have at least some elbow movement.

#91: Star Wars The Black Series - Rey (Jakku) & BB-8
Because I got the initial release of the Rey figure on the first Force Friday, I got one with somewhat unfortunate paint on the face, and a BB-8 with no weathering on the lower body, which contrasted poorly with the head. Later revisions fixed those problems, but I never got around to picking one up until the second Force Friday. As a bonus, she now includes Luke's lightsaber. So now I'm good on Rey figures, until they release a version of her in her Resistance outfit, or her Episode VIII appearance.

#90: Star Wars The Black Series - Kylo Ren (unmasked)
Also in the Rogue One wave available for Force Friday were a couple re-tooled Force Awakens figures. So here's my second Kylo Ren, this time with the unmasked head that I wish had just been included as an alternate head the first time. I suppose that they were trying to avoid spoilers then, so that is kind of excusable. So really, this time he should have had an alternate masked head. I do like the likeness on the face, he just looks so grumpy. And his hair looks ready for a shampoo commercial. Otherwise, this is the same figure, although the robes don't seem overly long like my first Kylo figure. Also, this time he gets two lightsabers, one ignited and the other not ignited. That's much better looking than the one with the removable blade that the first release had. The alternate lightsabers were in the K-Mart exclusive Starkiller Base version, so I'm glad they made it to this release too.
